Bonifacio T. Doma, Jr.

  • Dr. Bonifacio T. Doma, Jr. is currently the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs of Mapua University. He finished his BS Chemical Engineering from Mapua University, and his MS and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Philippines-Diliman. He did his doctoral dissertation in Biochemical Engineering in Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, USA. Dr. Doma helped the Philippine Commission on Higher Education in training schools, academic administrations, and faculty in implementing Outcomes-Based Education in the Philippines. Dr. Doma is currently a member of the Philippines Commission on Higher Education’s Technical Committee (CHED) on Chemical Engineering, a member of the National Research Council of the Philippines (Division VII), and a former president of the Philippine Association of Engineering Schools (PAES). He published papers in the field of Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics, Environmental Engineering, and Membrane Technology, and has an h-index of 13.
