David was the Director of Online Learning at James Cook University from 2014 – 2019.

  • Francis Ramirez arrived at Australian Catholic University (ACU) in 2013 with considerable experience in eLearning technology and best practice, in web-based and multimedia application design, and in managing technology-based projects and teams. He has worked in a range of roles in the software development industry as well as at Deakin University, Swinburne University and Monash University. Francis also lectured in the Bachelor and Master of Multimedia programs at Swinburne University.

Dragan Gasevic is a Professor of Learning Analytics at Monash University. Previously, he was a Professor and Sir Tim O'Shea Chair in Learning Analytics and Informatics in the Schools of Education and Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. He holds several honorary appointments in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, UK, and USA. A computer scientist by training and skills, he considers himself a learning analyst developing computational methods that can shape next-generation learning technologies.
